INDIGEBOX CULTURE IN EVERY BOX. PRIDE IN EVERY CHILD.

The Challenge
Many classrooms want to include Indigenous culture in meaningful ways, but teachers often lack the resources, confidence, or authentic materials. Too often, Indigenous stories, customs, and values are left out of early learning settings or presented inaccurately.

This leaves children without the chance to learn from Indigenous voices and without the pride that comes from seeing their own culture reflected in their education.

Indigebox changes that — delivering Native American classroom cultural resources and Indigenous stories directly to educators ready to do better.

Indigebox brings Indigenous stories, language, and traditions into early learning classrooms — so every child grows up seeing their culture celebrated, not erased.

Our Solution

Indigebox is a quarterly Indigenous early childhood learning kit for early childhood and elementary educators, bringing Indigenous literature and culture into Minnesota classrooms. Each box is created in partnership with Indigenous authors, elders, and artists — ensuring authenticity and alignment with seasonal traditions.

Each Indigebox includes:

  • A minimum of four culturally grounded classroom activities tied to literacy, math, science, art, and cultural themes

  • All materials needed for the activities

  • A seasonal Indigenous-authored book for the classroom — carefully selected to reflect cultural traditions

  • An Indigenous art item

  • A teacher appreciation gift

  • A resource magazine featuring Indigenous stories, cultural insights, and community contributions

Boxes are designed for a classroom of 20 students and arrive ready to use — helping teachers bring Indigenous cultural pride and awareness to life with ease.

Indigebox is a Cultural Bridge

Indigebox is more than a collection of activities for teachers, children, and families — it's a future grown in Indigenous knowledge:

  • For Teachers: Easy-to-use lesson plans tied to required developmental outcomes and Indigenous-authored content.

  • For Children: Hands-on activities, play-based learning, and Indigenous-authored books that spark joy, curiosity, and cultural pride.

  • For Families & Communities: A chance to see Indigenous knowledge honored in education and shared across generations.

  • For the Future: Stronger connections between children and the land, language, and traditions of Indigenous peoples.

Indigebox helps children develop a sense of identity, belonging, and respect — whether they are experiencing Indigenous culture for the first time or reconnecting with their heritage.
